VDMA Lifts and Escalators represents the interests of the German elevator industry. We stand for nearly 90 member companies from the lift, escalator and component sectors, which, with a turnover of more than 2 billion euros, account for around 90 percent of the lift and escalator market in Germany.
The main objective of our work is to represent our members' interests politically. We participate nationally and internationally in the drafting of standards and guidelines. We provide our member companies with concentrated expertise on technical regulations, on the economic situation and training in order to promote their economic development.
At a time of profound global changes and challenges, it is our goal to shape the framework conditions for mechanical and plant engineering in such a way that our companies remain successful and competitive in the future. The upcoming federal election offers a decisive opportunity to set the course for a future-oriented industrial policy. We need a #StandortUpgrade!
