Resilience and a sovereign technology supply for the energy transition in Germany and Europe
Resilience is increasingly becoming a key political, economic and social concept - but many issues still require further discussion. We want to discuss some of the most important questions with participants from politics, business and science at this joint event organised by VDMA Power Systems and BDEW on 13 May. You can register for this event via the BDEW using the link below.

A number of legislative projects have already been adopted to strengthen resilience in terms of diversifying supply chains and strengthening energy security and production in Europe, including the Critical Raw Materials Act and the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) at EU level, which now need to be implemented. The EU Commission also recently presented the Clean Industrial Deal.
At the same time, many questions relating to resilience require further public discussion involving different perspectives from business, society and politics: What further political measures does an agenda for greater resilience need? How can industrial policy and climate policy trade-offs be brought together? How can one-sided dependencies be effectively countered and how can a secure energy system and the security of the EU and its member states be guaranteed?
We would like to discuss these and other questions with you and renowned experts from politics and business at the dbb Forum in Berlin on 13 May.
Please register directly via this form provided by the BDEW. (Event in German language)
