At Caspian Oil and Gas 2023, 14 German companies presented their products and services as main exhibitors and two as sub-exhibitors under the slogan "Made in Germany".

At the 30th edition, German companies will once again have the opportunity to exhibit at the joint stand of the German government. German companies pay € 440 for the m² including stand construction. The closing date for registrations is March 7th, 2025 and applications are processed (after registration) via the AUMA online portal. About Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan has been investing in the oil and gas industry for several years. The focus is on processing and petrochemicals. In 2021, Azerbaijan produced 34.6 million crude oil and 43.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas. A large part of this was accounted for by private companies.

As of November 2021, GDP growth currently stands at 3.7 percent. The country's most important imports are led by food, machinery and chemical products. Germany ranks behind Russia, Turkey and China as a supplier country. Oil and gas clearly top the list as the main exports.

The coronavirus crisis has not left the country unscathed, but the industry is being driven in particular by persistent commodity prices. As a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, the EU has concluded an agreement on gas supplies. From 2027, 20 billion cubic meters are to flow instead of the previous 8.1 cubic meters.

The country's efforts to attract investors are also reflected in the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) project, which aims to attract national and foreign companies to settle here.
