The break-up of the traffic light coalition has left important questions unanswered for the expansion of offshore wind. The offshore wind industry therefore expects swift decisions from the future federal government. The long-term investments required to achieve the expansion targets need planning security and continuity along the entire value chain.
Based on the figures compiled by the consulting firm Deutsche WindGuard, the industry associations of the German offshore wind industry and the OFFSHORE-WINDENERGIE Foundation are jointly looking back on the past year, analyzing the expansion trend and pointing out the course that needs to be set.
