Our lecture program at the IFFA 2025

Whether it's vegan support structures for cultured meat, plant-based proteins, AI-supported solutions for industrial cleaning or biointelligence in meat processing machine construction – our lecture programme at IFFA is diverse.

Process for obtaining alternative proteins

The applications of plant proteins are creamy, crispy, juicy and sustainability-conscious: the Department of Food Biotechnology and Process Engineering at TU Berlin is presenting its current research results at IFFA.

Starting on a pilot scale: production of ingredients & product samples

How alternative ingredients and textured proteins are used to create meat substitute products with the typical meat structure.

Quality assurance through inline contamination sensors that can be integrated

Powerful sensor solutions for real-time inline monitoring of the contamination status are essential in order to design cleaning processes completely in line with requirements and thus significantly save production time and cleaning resources.

Mobile robot for automated cleaning

The "Exo-MCD" is an intelligent robot for automated and reproducible cleaning of systems and production environments.

Digital assistance for manual cleaning

"CleanAssist": The combination of highly integrated tracking sensor technology, spray cleaning simulation and a digital twin enables reliable quality assurance and consistent documentation for manual cleaning processes.
