Working Group Maintenance Building Technology
In the Building Services Maintenance Working Group (AIG), service providers and manufacturers of building services equipment and components work on the key topics of maintenance, inspection and repair. This also includes energy inspections, which are mandatory under the Building Energy Act (GEG), and the operation of buildings and technical systems. The focus is on the operational safety and availability of the systems with their energy efficiency. Technical regulations such as VDMA 24186 for maintenance and VDMA 24197 for energy inspection contain performance programs for implementation in practice.
