Join us for the eleventh session of the seminar series as we explore OPC UA for Metal Forming. This specification extends OPC UA for Machine Tools, which we introduced in the fourth session. It is a so-called technology-specific extension for metal forming machines.
In this VDMA Shopfloor Data Session we will look at the development and purpose of the OPC UA for Metal Forming specification. We will show which companies and experts have contributed to the creation and how we have extended the Machine Tools specification for use in metal forming machines. For this purpose, the tool model will be extended and adapted and the Machinery - ProcessValues specification will be used for many use cases.
