Trade shows and other major events have also been canceled in the second year of the pandemic. During this time, digital substitute formats have become established. Industry-experienced trade show organizers are converting their event to virtual formats by necessity, and companies themselves are increasingly offering virtual in-house trade shows and other digital events.

Robotic Solutions of Epson Deutschland GmbH from Meerbusch will present the new concept of a hybrid in-house exhibition to the participants. During the hybrid event, groups of customers are digitally invited to a showroom that allows the robot and automation portfolio in need of explanation to be explained by experts directly on the product. A professional camera studio has been set up in a warehouse in Ratingen, where several hundred events have been held to date in a mix of virtual communication platform and physical exhibition stand.

In the event, we would like to discuss with you how digital exhibition stands and virtual events can be used as suitable marketing and sales tools. Robert Konjusic, VDMA Business Advisory, and Dr. Alexander Koldau, VDMA Foreign Trade, will present the current state of knowledge of the VDMA on virtual customer events and discuss with you the new formats compared to real trade fairs and their future - because after the pandemic, traditional presence trade fairs will also return.

Moderation: Phillip Kübber
