About the trade fair
GASTECH was launched in 1972 and has been held every two years since. It has evolved as the world's leading gas and LNG technology exhibition, providing the world's largest platform for experts in the field of natural gas & LNG and is held at changing locations around the world.
At Gastech 2019 in Houston, as previously in Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and Barcelona, 689 exhibitors, including 40 from Germany, presented their products and services on an exhibition area of 50,000 m², according to the organiser. Parallel to the exhibition, the GASTECH Conference took place with visitors from international oil & gas groups as well as EPCs and bank representatives. The entire event attracted around 30,000 participants, including 2,516 conferees, from 30 industry sectors and 112 countries.
German Pavilion and European exhibitors
Since 2015, the VDMA has initiated joint stands in which 20-30 German and European companies regularly participate. Since 2021, there has been a German Pavilion and there is a separate exhibition area for European companies. You can find out more details here.
