Data is becoming increasingly important in everyday business. However, if you look at the real work processes, many employees struggle with manual routine tasks and disorderly data structures. Valuable time is lost in searching for the right data and processing it repeatedly.
In our workshop we will present you the operative handling of data and data structures using the free open source tool KNIME. Through exercises you will learn simple and intuitive methods for automating and optimizing data processes and how to make them visible and usable through interactive reporting. The KNIME software enables you to use all the data processes you are used to from Excel and continues where Excel already gives up. If you work a lot in Excel and often perform the same calculations over and over again, this workshop will show you how to simplify and speed up your work.
The workshop is therefore the ideal introduction to the field of data science. Please understand that in order to provide optimum support, we have to limit the number of participants to 14 and register registrations (max. two persons per company) in the order of receipt.
The participation requirements for the workshop are:
- Your own laptop with KNIME Analytics Platform 4.1.0 software installed (see installation instructions at the end of the invitation).
- The possibility of importing KNIME exercise files via USB stick or via download link via e-mail in the run-up to the event.
- No programming knowledge is required.
