The 15 members of the VDMA Bavaria Board of Directors are elected by the member companies. They define the focal points of the subsidiary's work and represent Bavarian mechanical engineering to the media, politicians and the public. Bertram Kawlath, Managing Partner of Schubert & Salzer GmbH, has headed the Board since 12 November, 2021
