Lightweight construction is one of the central technologies for combining competitiveness with climate protection, resource savings and energy efficiency. Due to the versatile characteristics and application areas of the cross-sectional technology lightweight construction, a holistic and interdisciplinary approach is required to bring together and further develop lightweight construction solutions from different perspectives and applications.
In this context, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) supports companies and research institutions with the Technology Transfer Program Lightweight Construction (TTP LB) to enable innovative lightweight construction projects. The funding program supports research, development and innovation projects in lightweight construction that, among other things, "carry lightweight construction into broad industrial application" or "promote cross-industry and cross-material knowledge and technology transfer." Funding can be applied for on April 1 and October 1 of each calendar year.
What can you expect from the virtual exchange of experience? In the virtual event, Dámaso López Ruiz, project manager of the VDMA Hybrid Lightweight Technologies working group, will give an overview of the framework of the TTP LB. In addition, Mathias Froning, ITA GmbH, will report on experiences from the idea generation process for the Digital Design 4 Recycling (DiDe4Rec) project. The aim of DiDe4Rec is to develop and validate a holistic development approach for recyclable lightweight products based on fiber-reinforced polymers. DiDe4Rec is funded within the framework of the TTP LB.
Bring in your questions on the topic and exchange your thoughts with expert colleagues from the other member companies and with the speakers. We look forward to an intensive virtual exchange of experiences.
The event is aimed at specialists and managers from the fields of construction, environment and management.
Moderation: Kevin Löpke
Registration deadline: 24.03.2023
A few days before the event, registered participants will receive a confirmation of participation and the technical details of the online tool including a dial-in link. If you are unable to attend despite registering, please send us a short message.
In the interest of efficient dialog, we have limited the number of participants. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Organizer
The event is offered by ProduktionNRW. ProduktionNRW is the cluster of mechanical engineering and production technology in North Rhine-Westphalia and is organized by VDMA NRW. ProduktionNRW sees itself as a platform for networking, informing and marketing companies, institutions and networks among themselves and along the value chain. Significant parts of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
