StocExpo is the largest and longest running tank storage and fuels event of the future. Taking place from March 14-16, the event invites thousands of trade visitors and exhibitors from the world's leading oil companies, component and tank manufacturers to participate in the exhibition and conference.
VDMA moderates conference at StocExpo Rotterdam
The conference will focus on current challenges and future developments in the areas of component safety, efficiency and sustainability. VDMA will moderate the accompanying "Tankstorage Operations & Safety Conference" at StocExpo from March 14 - 16, 2023 on behalf of the trade fair organizer. The conference will take place in the exhibition halls and is aimed at the trade audience.

StocExpo in Rotterdam traditionally brings together operators, users and suppliers of oil and chemical tank farms. With the topic of decarbonization, alternative solutions are now also coming into focus in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Virtually every chemical park, port and larger company operates a tank farm. Future fuels such as green ammonia, methanol and bio-based products are coming into focus.

About the trade fair
The annual StocExpo welcomed 2022 visitors from 80 countries. The top10 countries are all in Europe, led by the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The show also places a special focus on networking. In addition to the various opportunities to make contacts at the show in the Delegate Lounge, the Networking Lounge and at the digital SE Connect, there will also be various events to do so, including the Global Tank Storage Awards ceremony and the late-night networking party.
In addition, the regular program also offers all kinds of innovations. For the first time, a tour of the Port of Rotterdam and Ace Ammonia will be offered. This year, the fairgrounds will also feature the so-called Robotics Playground, an area made available to provide robotics exhibitors with a better stage for demonstrating their products.
For the recognition of young talents, the show also publishes the Forty under 40 list, which aims to identify the possible industry leaders of the future in the oil and tanks sector. The WOMEN IN TANKS initiative has also been launched as part of the diversification of the industry and the promotion of its gain in attractiveness to people of all genders.
