The corona pandemic has changed the forms of collaboration and leadership in companies - there will be no going back. Learn how the change towards New Work can succeed.

16x9

In the last few metres of the pandemic, many companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector are also asking themselves a fundamental question: How should future collaboration be structured if Corona no longer forces employees into a home office, but instead allows companies to decide for themselves what the balance between home and office should look like and where to focus on virtual or physical collaboration.

The buzzword "New Work" offers only apparent help here for the time being and is at the same time not without risk. Simply using this trendy word does not do justice to the relevance and tasks of a post-corona world. The New Work transformation must be defined and justified from within the company's own everyday working life. This involves more than simply defining a home office or presence quota.

Many questions have to be clarified: What is the company's specific approach and self-image with regard to New Work? What does this have to do with the company's business strategy? What role do the locations play in times of increased home office? What about employees for whom the home office option remains closed? How can young trainees or the workforce be connected to the company in times of increasing flexibility of work location? So there are many answers to be found - some of them also in dialogue with managers in particular. It is necessary to classify decisions that define the new possibilities, but also the associated requirements for changed cooperation and leadership.

What can participants expect from the virtual exchange of experiences? The two-hour event will take a look at the New Work transformation and its individual steps and formats. In a joint workshop, we will also identify the expectations and fears of the various stakeholder groups and discuss how these can be adequately addressed.

The event is aimed at specialists and managers from the areas of communication, human resources, innovation and management.
