In view of an exciting and challenging year, VDMA Mining traditionally meets in November in Essen for this year's Industry Meeting Mining.

2023 was a year of back and forth, of up and down, of both, China vs. the USA, the West vs. Russia, the South/BRICS against the North, the USA vs. the EU, the EU vs. EU members and the coalition partners against each other.
Relevant for our industry are the EU framework to strengthen the European raw materials sector and the (re)focus in Germany on its own raw materials and industrial strengths. But all too often too much time passes before words are followed by deeds.
Against this background, we cordially invite you - also on behalf of the Chairman of the VDMA Mining Executive Board, Dr. Michael Schulte Strathaus, Schulte Strathaus GmbH & Co. KG, Werl - to the Zeche Zollverein in Essen, where we will jointly seek and discuss goals and points of reference for the future. We offer you this programme below.
