In the "Startup Solutions for Mechanical Engineering" series of events, we bring startups into contact with industrial companies from the field of mechanical and plant engineering. The startups present their solutions to current challenges. The focus of this event is on the topic of "sustainability". The demand for climate and environmentally friendly technologies is growing rapidly. Mechanical and plant engineering can use this as a provider and user of sustainable solutions to further expand its key position.
What can participants expect from the virtual exchange of experiences? In the session, we will explore how startups can help companies meet the challenges in the areas of energy, circular economy, CO2 reduction by using digital solutions. In the hour and a half session, you will learn about offerings from the following startups around sustainability: DX FACTURE, Ionkraft and Partscloud.
The startup DX FACTURE presents an intelligent energy and CO2 management system that empowers manufacturing companies to manage and reduce their energy costs and CO2 emissions. Startup IonKraft's mission is to contribute to the circular economy of packaging - it has developed a plasma coating that achieves the same barrier properties as multi-material packaging and is fully recyclable to boot. Eliminating paper-based processes in spare parts management through a digital platform is the goal of startup Partscloud. Its solution helps reduce emissions per shipment by better utilizing existing logistics resources.
The event is aimed at specialists and executives from the fields of management, sustainability, energy and logistics.

Significant parts of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
