Marketing in the mechanical and plant engineering sector has changed as a result of the corona pandemic. Companies have had to adapt their strategies to continue to communicate with their customers and close deals. The online event will focus on three topics:

In the interest of efficient dialogue, we have limited the number of participants. Registrations will be considered in the order of receipt. If you are unable to attend despite registering, please send us a short message.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Organizer
The event is offered by ProduktionNRW. ProduktionNRW is the cluster of mechanical engineering and production technology in North Rhine-Westphalia and is organized by VDMA NRW. ProduktionNRW sees itself as a platform for networking, informing and marketing companies, institutions and networks among themselves and along the value chain. Significant parts of the services provided by ProduktionNRW are funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Social media and marketing: social media are among the most important tools in marketing - also in mechanical and plant engineering. By using social media in a targeted manner, companies can strengthen their market presence and communicate successfully with customers and other stakeholders. Gearbox manufacturer Flender GmbH will provide an insight into its own social media activities in this area.
- Discussion on industrial trade fairs: Trade fairs have been possible again since last year, and this year, too, companies from the mechanical and plant engineering sector are welcoming their customers at the Ligna, Interpack or Automatica. What has changed fundamentally? How high is the inflation? How does this affect the online budget? We would like to discuss these but also other aspects with you in this regard.
- Discussion on the use of AI in marketing: the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing is not yet clearly positioned today, but offers companies numerous opportunities (for example, in marketing content and/or in connection with SEO) to interact more effectively with the target group. To this end, we want to discuss how the mechanical and plant engineering sector in North Rhine-Westphalia assesses the situation. Is there already experience in this regard?
