We are pleased to invite you to our online event, where experienced specialists will present modern solutions for value-adding application scenarios with 3D technologies.

16x9

We at VDMA Baden-Württemberg are aware that this topic has already been addressed many times and that the technology is well established in a few companies. Nevertheless, it was the wish of many member companies to present the potentials and problems of these technologies again in a short format. We are responding to this request and will be highlighting all three types of extended reality in a presentation.

Virtual reality (VR) uses a virtual environment to enable CAD models to be operated and tested virtually. This makes it possible to set up, operate and interact with systems and machines even before they are produced using virtual prototypes.
Augmented reality (AR) combines the physical with the virtual world. One of the most common applications for augmented reality is virtual content, such as circles or directional instructions, which are superimposed on the real world and can thus serve as interactive aids for technicians who are guided safely and efficiently to clarify technical issues remotely. Tablets and smartphones are just as suitable for visual communication as smart glasses.
Mixed reality (MR) combines reality and virtuality and enables existing spaces to be expanded with haptic elements. It therefore includes virtual reality and augmented reality and expands the natural world with the possibility of real-time manipulation of virtual objects through physical interaction.

This event is a cooperation of VDMA Baden-Württemberg and is free of charge for you. The number of participants has been limited to 40 in the interest of an intensive dialog. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
Please let us know if you are unable to attend despite having registered.
