From October 7 to 10, 2024, AHK Indonesia is organizing a business initiation to Indonesia on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.

In cooperation with the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association and Bondacon International, AHK Indonesia is organizing a business initiation trip to Jakarta and Surabaya from October 7 to 10. This is a project-related funding measure as part of the market development program for SMEs. The target group is primarily small and medium-sized German companies (SMEs).
Indonesia is an important trading partner for German companies with stable economic growth of around 5% per year. The country's population exceeds 270 million people, with a high proportion being of working age (80% of the total population). Due to increasing urbanization and changes in lifestyle, production and demand for consumer goods such as food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics are on the rise in Indonesia. These sectors contribute significantly to the national export performance in the manufacturing industry category.
The program is aimed at German SMEs, self-employed persons in the commercial sector as well as specialist liberal professions and business-related service companies with a corresponding industry focus and business operations in Germany.
The main target group are German SMEs in the following sectors:
Companies that manufacture machines for processing raw materials in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, such as mixing machines, grinding machines, homogenizers, etc.
Manufacturers of machines for packaging products in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, including filling machines, capping machines, labeling machines, as well as suppliers of automation solutions and quality assurance systems.
the project is part of the market development program for SMEs and is subject to de minimis regulations. Depending on the size of the company, the company's own contribution for participation in the project is
-eUR 500 (net plus 19% German VAT) for companies with an annual turnover of less than EUR 2 million and fewer than 10 employees
-eUR 750 (net plus 19% German VAT) for companies with an annual turnover of less than EUR 50 million and fewer than 500 employees
-eUR 1,000 (net plus 19% German VAT) for companies with an annual turnover of EUR 50 million or more or 500 or more employees
