Rapid.Tech 3D is the trend-setting event of the AM scene at Messe Erfurt and is celebrating its 20th edition: May 14-16, 2024. The event offers a successful triad of specialist congress, exhibition and networking opportunities for the AM industry.
In addition to a broad-based information platform, Rapid.Tech 3D is also a creative meeting place for start-ups as well as experts and industry giants in additive manufacturing. The high-class and strongly user-oriented congress is complemented by the trade exhibition on the additive process chain with suitable opportunities for networking and exchange, for example at various evening events or on the lecture stage of the 3D Printing Conference.
Thanks to the trade fair's collaboration with the VDMA, mechanical engineering now has a permanent place in the program as an AM application area. This large branch of industry is involved both as a technology supplier and as a user of the manufacturing process.
On Tuesday, May 14, 6 presentations in the Carl-Zeiss Saal will examine economic efficiency, sustainability, new design, production and service with AM. Experts from various areas of the additive process chain will have their say, shedding light on the applications of several AM processes in industry. More information here.
The AM science and research community has also had a permanent place at Rapid.Tech 3D for many years. From 2024, two new top-class publication partners (Springer Nature Progress in Additive Manufacturing and RTe Journal) have been acquired for the submitted papers and the latest scientific findings will be presented in the two-day AM Science Forum. You can also look forward to the one-day Science Forum presented by Fraunhofer in 2024.
