In addition to the SCIP database, the event will address the Chinese and European RoHS Directives, as well as other global regulations, such as the California Proposition.
The number of product- and company-related environmental requirements is constantly increasing worldwide. Countless country-specific regulations are emerging that are rarely based on the European regulatory framework. Knowing and complying with the many different regulations in the area of material compliance poses enormous challenges for mechanical and plant engineering. These include REACH, RoHS, WEEE, SCIP and, for example, the Packaging Act. These regulations result in country-specific advantages and disadvantages and, above all, information obligations. Although the relevant regulations are known, many aspects still need to be explained.
This event will give you an overview of the currently important information requirements:
The exchange of experiences will shed light on the resulting manufacturer obligations in the area of material compliance and some practical tips on how to comply will be discussed together with the participants.
Agenda
TOP 1 Welcome and introduction
Phillip Kübber, Consultant ProductionNRW
TOP 2 Operational and product-related environmental requirements
Irina Messerschmidt, Consultant, VDMA Technology, Environment and Sustainability
