***Fully booked: No more registration possible***Green Deal and CO2 neutral production: New opportunities for the mechanical and plant engineering industry! (online)
How to become carbon neutral is a question that many companies are currently asking themselves. Several companies in North Rhine-Westphalia are already addressing this issue, including companies from the mechanical and plant engineering sector. Some of them are participants in the energy efficiency networks, three of which are managed by the VDMA in cooperation with ProduktionNRW. After all, it is a fact that German manufacturers are leading the way when it comes to networked production technologies, which often also contribute to sustainability targets.

What opportunities are developing for the mechanical engineering industry through the new Green Deal? How can the CO2 footprint of products be reduced and factories become more energy efficient? How can companies' CO2 emissions be calculated? We will inform you about these questions in our exchange of experience. Frederike Krebs from the VDMA European Office will present the new VDMA guidelines for climate-neutral production and will talk about the chances of the Green Deal. Together with Nicole Wallner from Drees & Sommer AG, an expert with roots in mechanical and plant engineering in North Rhine-Westphalia will provide practical information on how production plants can gradually save CO2 and increase energy efficiency potential. Subsequently, we would like to discuss questions on the topic with you in an exchange of experience.
Take this positive impulse with you and gain fresh ideas for future business models and growth opportunities in a green economy!
