Germany is currently experiencing a profound economic and structural crisis, which is also reflected in the key economic figures. Short-time working has secured numerous jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. This measure enabled companies to retain staff who were quickly available for the recovery after the pandemic. The instrument is also increasingly being used again in the current crisis. According to the Munich-based Ifo Institute, one in four industrial companies could soon register short-time working - an increase compared to February, when it was just under one in five.

Against this background, we would like to give you a sound overview of the most important aspects of short-time work in our virtual event: What legal framework conditions must be observed? How does the application process work? What funding options are available?

Bring your questions on the topic and share your thoughts with colleagues from other member companies and the speakers. We look forward to an intensive exchange of experiences.

The event is aimed at specialists and managers from the fields of employment law, HR and management.
