The supply bottlenecks that have severely impacted us in recent years are currently gradually easing again in most material groups. However, with shorter delivery times and rising interest rates, the increased inventories are now already putting pressure on us again in many cases.
For purchasing and supply chain management, the question now is how to get out of the reactive role and become less subject to the demand cycle in the longer term. Is the cyclical change from bottleneck to oversupply really inevitable?
To find answers to these and other questions, we would like to invite you to our event. Together we want to discuss and debate the right mix of measures from inventories, cross-company planning and diversification of the supplier base. In doing so, we will also address the conflict of objectives between profitability and safety, which can often only be answered from the specific requirements of the respective material group.
In addition, we would like to discuss the impact of regulatory requirements and reporting obligations on supply chains, as the bureaucratic burden for procurement ex EU is becoming ever greater.
Moderation: Klaus Möllemann
