From the first idea to a binding offer
The increasing variety of product configurations and the desire for more and more individual solutions increases the sales efforts in the machine and plant construction. Up to the concrete offer often several complex co-ordinations between supplier and customer but also within the supplier between the involved departments are necessary. This costs time. A competitive advantage is to reduce this time to an absolute minimum and thus, if possible, to be the first to provide an offer to a customer.
By actively involving the customer at an early stage in the quotation process and efficient variant management or so-called Configure Price Quote (CPQ) systems, precisely this decisive time advantage can be achieved. Ideally, all necessary knowledge about the product and the feasibility of variants is bundled and a binding offer can be made at the push of a button.
Within the scope of the online event, J.M. Voith SE & Co KG / VPH will show how this is implemented in practice and how a modern, efficient quote generation in day-to-day business by means of variant management and CPQ works.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to exchange your experiences and thoughts with colleagues from the other member companies and the speakers.
