The mechanical and plant engineering industry is a key solution provider in the transformation of the energy and climate sector and thus offers opportunities for new value creation and technological sovereignty in Europe. The event provides an overview of the potential of the mechanical and plant engineering industry in key areas of climate protection and the energy transition and compares it with the aspirations of the new German government.

It will highlight technological solutions and emphasise the industrial policy benefits of an ambitious transformation agenda.

In three high-level panels with representatives from ministries, the German Bundestag and the private sector, we will examine the role of climate protection technologies, the future energy system and energy and heat in buildings, among other things. The event will be opened by the President of the VDMA, Bertram Kawlath. After the official programme, you can continue the discussions over a snack and bring the evening to a close.
