At the Arbeitswelt.Plus Summit on May 15, 2025 in Bielefeld, everything will revolve around the successful introduction of AI technologies in companies. Specialists and managers from industry and research will gain insights into practical solutions, experiences from the business world and forward-looking strategies.

Pioneering work for the working world of tomorrow
"The Working World.Plus competence center brings universities and companies together to develop AI solutions that improve everyday working life - from production planning to relieving physically demanding tasks.

AI in practice: successful solutions from companies
The Vlotho-based company Kannegiesser, world market leader in laundry technology, also relies on AI. An innovative sorting solution, developed with the University of Bielefeld, analyzes camera images and automates the separation of dirty laundry - a breakthrough for greater hygiene and occupational safety in industrial laundries. "For this reason, we have developed a solution for sorting soiled laundry based primarily on camera images and artificial intelligence, building on an existing automatic laundry sorting machine together with the University of Bielefeld," explains Dr. Mathias Wöhler from Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH.
In addition to these practical examples, other companies - including Dr. Oetker, Lenze, Miele, NTT DATA, Wago and Weidmüller - will be presenting their AI applications and cooperation with trade union partners.

How can AI be accepted in companies?
Not every technology is automatically accepted. Companies face the challenge of getting employees on board, designing processes sensibly and creating acceptance for new solutions. Which strategic approaches can help and which fields of application are particularly promising will be discussed at the Arbeitswelt.Plus Summit.

Experience, network, apply
The event offers top-class keynotes, practical workshops on topics such as production planning, AI strategy and assistance systems, as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with experts. Whether best practices from the industry, current research results or direct application tips - there will be valuable impulses for companies that want to integrate AI into their working environment.

Registration deadline: 09.05.2025

Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. If you are unable to attend despite registration, please send us a short message.

Organizer
The event is offered by the leading-edge cluster "it's OWL" in cooperation with ProduktionNRW.
