Info day "operation of data rooms"
The data space-based data economy will enter a new phase in 2025. In the document "Players in the industrial data economy 2024" at the end of last year, we presented around 60 ongoing data room development projects ("X projects") in the field of industrial production, and their number continues to grow. We receive numerous inquiries from abroad asking us to inform them about data rooms and their significance for production. The data room "made in Germany" seems to be developing into an export hit. We now want to go one step further and look at the question of how data room-based software applications can be operated in practice. The data room with its decentralized data storage cannot be operated like a central database in a central data center, but requires a new, innovative approach. The first operating companies are appearing on the market and offering their services. At the same time, the 60 X projects mentioned above have their specific requirements for the operation of their "X apps". At this event, we want to get to know data room operating companies and their services, but also make clear the wishes of the X projects that are still in development.
