Materials such as silicone and polyurethane are very interesting for the additive manufacturing of seals. However, these materials cannot be used in most printing processes. With the vipro-HEADs from ViscoTec, this is exactly what is possible. The process is very similar to filament printing, as it is also an extrusion-based construction of the component from individual lines. Due to the simple integration into existing 3D printers and the use of standard slicers, the vipro-HEAD is a very powerful tool for additive manufacturing and thus enables a variety of new applications.
