The annual Seatrade Cruise Global (until 2015: Cruise Shipping Miami) is not only the largest and most important trade fair to date for the cruise market in general, but also the meeting place for all players in the international cruise industry. This includes cruise ship owners and shipyards, the corresponding supply industry, ship chandlers as well as the individual destinations that present themselves for the compilation of the ship routes.
The exhibitor spectrum at Cruise Shipping Global can be divided into three significantly represented areas. These are shipbuilding (shipyards for new shipbuilding, repair, conversion and modernization, shipbuilding suppliers, ship chandlers, classification societies and other service providers), ship operations (product suppliers and service providers for all aspects of the cruise product and tourism operations, such as the hotel sector, food & beverage, catering, specialist media, etc.) and the cruise industry. Beverage, catering, trade media) and the destinations (ports, regions and countries that offer themselves as tourist ports of call for cruise ship travel such as port operators, tourism organizations and authorities, regional tour operators).
In 2019 (it was cancelled in 2020 due to the Corona crisis), the fair was held for the thirty-fourth time from April 08-11 on 14,000 m² and attracted around 13,000 visitors, according to the organizers. An extensive conference program was again held in parallel with the show. A total of 753 companies were represented at the fair, including 80 cruise providers alone.
