Digitization, Smart Factory, IIoT and Industry 4.0 are on everyone's lips. But what to do if existing machines and systems are not (yet) ready for it? The answer is retrofit. This opens up an opportunity to upgrade existing plants for the digital future quickly and with a comparatively low investment volume and manageable effort.

This web-based exchange of experience offers a comprehensive overview of the topic of digital retrofitting. Based on the VDMA guide Retrofit for Industry 4.0, it will be shown how the entry and implementation can be approached step by step, in a structured and systematic manner. Expert presentations from the user and solution provider perspective will provide concrete experiences and detailed insights into practice.

Above all, we look forward to your personal experiences, thoughts and questions in the subsequent open discussion.
