16.04.2010 - The order situation of the manufacturers of components, machines and plants for photovoltaics has improved. That is what 87 percent of the companies report in the newly created business climate survey of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) for the industry sector. "Turnover expectations amount to plus 11.9 percent for 2010 and plus 12.3 percent for 2011", explains Dr. Peter Fath, CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics AG and Chairman of VDMA Photovoltaic Equipment.   

31.03.2010 - The German Engineering Federation (VDMA) has declared its sector Photovoltaic Equipment an individual association platform. The members of the enlarged association platform VDMA Photovoltaic Equipment have elected a board of twelve renown industry representatives, who appointed Dr. Peter Fath, CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics AG, as chairman.   

12.02.2010 – ”The manufacturers of photovoltaic production equipment will found an individual association platform during the annual photovoltaics conference of the German Engineering Federation VDMA on March 30th in Frankfurt”, explains Dr. Peter Fath, CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics AG and spokesman of the Steering Committee Photovoltaic Equipment within VDMA.  

01.02.2010 –VDMA's Photovoltaic Equipment Forum has appointed a steering committee consisting of well-known industry representatives at the beginning of this year. The steering committee will focus on further concentrating the interests of VDMA members involved in photovoltaics production equipment. Dr. Peter Fath is acting as spokesman of the new committee. He is CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics AG, one of the leading manufacturers of photovoltaic machinery and turn-key solar plants.   

08.02.2010 – The sales turnover of the manufacturers of components, machinery and equipment for the photovoltaic industry in Germany went down by 28 per cent in the third quarter of 2009 compared to the respective quarter of last year.
