01.02.2010 - VDMA Photovoltaic Equipment Forum appoints Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 01.02.2010 –VDMA's Photovoltaic Equipment Forum has appointed a steering committee consisting of well-known industry representatives at the beginning of this year. The steering committee will focus on further concentrating the interests of VDMA members involved in photovoltaics production equipment. Dr. Peter Fath is acting as spokesman of the new committee. He is CTO of centrotherm photovoltaics AG, one of the leading manufacturers of photovoltaic machinery and turn-key solar plants.   

08.02.2010 – The sales turnover of the manufacturers of components, machinery and equipment for the photovoltaic industry in Germany went down by 28 per cent in the third quarter of 2009 compared to the respective quarter of last year.  

16.07.2009 - The sales turnover of the manufacturers of equipment, machinery and plants for the photovoltaic industry in Germany for the first quarter of 2009 has exceeded the respective quarter of last year by 60 per cent.  

13.11.2008 - For 2008 the German manufacturers of machinery and plants for electronics production still expect a turnover plus of five percent compared to last year. However, a general decrease in the total order value slows down the expectations to 2 percent growth for 2009. The broad feed back spectrum received shows the increasing uncertainty within the industry. This is the result of the brand new business climate survey, an ad-hoc assessment carried out among the members of the VDMA Productronics Association which has been presented on the occasion of the international electronics trade fair "electronica".   

03.06.2008 - The German manufacturers of electronics production equipment again expect a plus in turnover of seven percent compared to last year. For 2009 the companies expect a significant increase to ten percent. This is the result of the spring quick survey among the members of the Productronics Association within VDMA on the occasion of the "SMT / Hybrid / Packaging" trade fair.
