VDMA TV Webbox in English starting 1 September 2010

After successfully completing its first year of service in German, the VDMA TV Webbox is set to go online in English, too, on 1 September 2010. This is in response to the worldwide demand for film material on engineering topics. Because users from 93 countries - especially journalists and TV producers, but also technicians, engineers, students, scientists and trade fair visitors - are already accessing content on www.vdma-webbox.tv.

VDMA Technology Seminars at glasstec 2010

13.07.2010 - Mulifunctional solar products and energy-efficient production are the main issues of the two VDMA technology events at glasstec. Industry experts and speakers of high reputation will join the seminars being part of the glass technology live exhibition during glasstec in Düsseldorf. The programm mainly addresses glass producers, architects and designers.

VDMA: German plastics and rubber machinery takes centre stage with remarkable half-yearly results

02.09.2010 - There was a sharp increase in new orders for German plastics and rubber machinery in the first half of 2010. "No one could have foreseen the 85 per cent jump in orders recorded by the industry in the first six months of the year; it is a truly remarkable performance that gives grounds for optimism," Ulrich Reifenhäuser, Chairman of the VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association, was pleased to note.
